Usage of Electronic Information Resources in Research and Engineering Environment: A Case Study

This paper aims to evaluate the usage of electronic information resources by the faculty members of Karunya University, Coimbatore. The purpose of the study is to fulfill the academic needs of the faculty members and it covers the usage of electronic resources namely Internet, E-Journals, online resources, CD ROM and online resources. A well structured questionnaire was distributed among faculty members to collect the necessary data. It described the problems faced by faculty while using the electronic resources and find out the level of satisfaction about the electronic information sources and services.
