The Asian Journal of Information Science and Technology (AJIST) is a half-yearly, double-blind peer-reviewed, Gold Open Access scholarly journal established in 2011 and published by the Centre for Research and Innovation (CRI), Coimbatore, India. AJIST publishes original research articles, review articles and case studies in information science, library and information science, information systems, digital libraries, knowledge organisation, information retrieval, scholarly communication and related digital information environments.

AJIST serves an international readership of researchers, academics, librarians, information professionals, educators, and practitioners interested in the creation, organization, management, retrieval, use, evaluation, and communication of information in scholarly, library, organizational, and technology-enabled environments.
