Aims and Scope

Aim

The Asian Journal of Information Science and Technology (AJIST) aims to advance scholarly knowledge and professional practice in information science, library and information science, information systems, and related digital information environments. The journal provides an international platform for rigorous theoretical, empirical, methodological, and practice-orientated research. It publishes studies that improve the understanding, organisation, management, discovery, use, preservation, and evaluation of information resources, systems, services, and infrastructures. AJIST encourages research addressing digital transformation, knowledge organisation, information behaviour, scholarly communication, digital libraries, research analytics, data management, and responsible applications of emerging technologies.
