We collect information when you browse through our journal websites, create an account on the editorial management system that collects and processes data on our behalf, submit manuscripts, review an article, participate in editorial activities, complete online forms and questionnaires, sign up for newsletters, or correspond with the editorial or support staff of the publisher and our journals by post, telephone, or email.
While using our services, we may acquire and store the following personal data:
- Salutation, name, phone number, postal address, email, and other contact details
- Affiliation, country, topics of expertise, and other researcher information
- This includes the title, keywords, abstract, manuscript files, suggested reviewers, conflict of interest statements, and other information related to submissions.
- We collect customer name, product code, date, amount, and method of payment, along with other relevant payment information. Third-party payment providers handle individual or corporate credit card payments using encrypted protocols to ensure security. We do not retain credit card information.
Purpose for Collecting Personal Data
Personal information may be used by our Management, Editorial, IT, Production, Accounting, and Marketing departments for the standard operations of an academic publisher, such as:
- Access to user accounts in the editorial system
- Managing editorial and production workflows
- Communicating with authors, reviewers, and editors
- Issuing invoices and processing payments
- Soliciting new articles
- Sharing updates
- Responding to legal authorities
Data Storage, Protection and sharing

Access to protected personal information is limited on a “need-to-know” basis. We are not a partner of any advertising server company.
