Abstract

Research is an indispensable component for any branch for the generation of new knowledge. Much of the research work in many disciplines is carried out through academic research programmes leading to M.Phil. and Ph.D degrees. The present article is devoted to bibliometric analysis of Ph.D theses generated in Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, for a period of fifteen years between 1996- 2010.
