A Scientometric Study of Authorship Collaboration in Agricultural Research from 1970 - 2012

The study analyses agriculture research publication output for the period of 1970-2012. It is determined to observe the performance of a continent and country in a particular discipline of scientific research. This study deals from the web of science, applying the analytical tools part; Specialization Index (SI), Author Productivity, Authorship Pattern, Collaborative Index, Lotka’s Law, and Pareto Principle (80 X 20 Rule) have also been taken up to identify the research output of agriculture in the selected continents and special identification of Indian research.
