Abstract

This study evaluates the “Food Poisoning” research output from the year 2009 to 2018 (10 years). The data were downloaded from the Web of Science (WoS) database which was maintained by Thomson Reuters. The total number of records was 1726. Food poisoning is defined as an infection caused by the consumption of food or water contaminated with bacteria and/or their toxins, or with parasites, viruses, or chemicals. The study mainly focused on the year wise, author wise, language and country wise publications of the food poisoning research.The collected data were analyzed with the help of “Bibexcel tool”.
